29th-31st May 2009 Winton Historics VIC. A tribute to Lou Molina and his racing cars. Eight of my late Grandfather’s racing cars 	 were present and took to the track, inc MM Holden, Molina Monza, Bugatti Brescia, MGTB Supercharged Special, MGTC Special, ‘Vulgarilla’ MGTC Special, The Essex and The Austin 7. The Molina Family was represented in the  regularity events with Adam and myself Sharing MG’s. The weekend was great and a Big thankyou to Anthony and  Ernest Molina, Russ and Smithy for locating a fuel pump!








26th July 2009 Round 1 Northern Inland Motocross Series (NIMX) Inverell NSW. Emoto Racing Team’s first visit to the awesome Ashford Rd Complex. I entered the over 35’s on my Honda CRF450X. After a bad run of starts, including going over the bars from hitting a slow falling start gate, I was able to settle in to a comfortable pace and was having a blast. The big Honda had no shortage of power on the long straights and the Enduro (plush) suspension settings made the big jumps a challenge. A great weekend and a good start to the NIMX series with 15 points in the bag.









2nd August 2009 Round 2 NIMX Narrabri NSW. The Newtown Park Track was definitely my favourite MX Track in 2009. A first turn crash in Moto 2 dropped me down in the points score and some good racing followed. Took home 14 points and took in some great free riding and testing west of Moree on the following Monday with Marcus. 









30th August 2009 Round 3 NIMX Moree NSW. The Boolooroo track is simply awesome, rain hit Saturday afternoon and we made the most of the amazing relaxation powers of the Artesian hot springs. My mate had blown a disc in his back and the hot spring pools were the first relief he had felt in weeks! Rain and Moree black soil is a dangerous combination - for racing MX - the near impossible to ride track was just the thing to take points away from some of our competition. Moree was the first MX podium finish for Emoto Racing with a hard earned 2nd in Moto two giving me a third for the day and putting me in third for the championship!









4th October 2009 Round 4 NIMX Coonabarabran NSW. The newly opened Goanna Tracks complex was the venue for this round. The track is absolutely massive, fast and a great layout. The weather was perfect and we camped out at the Track Saturday night. The CRF had a full tear down and rebuild after the Moree mud bath and I had fitted a new exhaust. We did a test using Penrite SIN Castor oil at 50:1 in the tank and found it to have no adverse affects. The smell at the start line was good too! Moto 3 saw me taken out by a competitor at turn three, as I fell my foot got caught in the pack and was rotated too far. A trip to Coona hospital and some surgery at Coffs Harbour has all my bones back where they should be. We weren’t able to make round 5 and settled on 5th overall for the championship. Roll on 2010.

BALLINA North Coast MX Series

A very steady pace for the first race on the new CRF250RA. With only 45mins on this bike and the first race back from my 2009 injury big results were not expected at this race. 

EAST COAST OVER 40’s KART TITLES - COFFS HARBOUR

Emoto Racing Snr Driver Ernest Molina takes out this prestigious event with a fantastic win in Rotax Super Heavy! With an excellent drive from first practice to the chequered flag this is Emoto Racing’s best result so far with Ern now sporting the RED #1 Plate! 











EMOTO RACING TAKES 4th WIN AT SPEED ON TWEED!

Thanks to my late grandfather for  such a fast car! The 1947 MGTC seems to get faster every year and is a real joy to punt around this tight and technical track. A best time of 48.7 seconds was all that was needed to secure the top of the podium at this great event! Many thanks to Penrite Oil and in particular the SIN Racing brake Fluid!
